Mr. Xu Pengfei, the director of China Artists Association Cartoon Branch, Senior Editor of  Peopels' daily, editor-in-chief of "Satire & humor", Mr. Xu was born in Changchun ,China ,1949. He began to draw cartoons and published the works in newspapers and magazines since 1978. He became the art editor Jilin Daily in 1982, and he worked for People's Daily in 1993. As a member of the delegation,Mr. Xu had been to Hong Kong to participate in China cartoon exhibition in 1978, Mr. Xu was the member of the jury to the 7th and 10th National Art Exhibition in 1989 and 2004, And he was also as the judge in the Selsction of mascot the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games in 2005. Mr. Xu's cartoon work have won the first prize in the National editorial cartoon award in 1988, the honored prize in the Sixth National Art Exhibition. Meanwhile Mr. Xu won many prizes in Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, South Korea, Indonesia, France and other international exhibitions and cartoon competitions. He have been the winners for seven times in Japan's Yomiuri International Cartoon contest. In 1995, Mr. Xu was invited to participate as representatives of Chinese cartoonists to attend the "Asian Cartoon Exhibition" in Tokyo, Japan, In the same year mr. Xu also be invited to International Cartoon Festival in Seoul, Korea. In 1997 , Mr. Xu was appointed to be the member of jury of the International Cartoon Contest in Seoul. Mr. Xu's works have be collected by many art gallery and private.
